Every day at noon, during the pandemic, a little pajarito came to visit me. It never failed—same time,
same place, as if it knew I was there, waiting.

If you’re still out there somewhere, just know—I’m fine.

I survived a pandemic, and you were right. Everyone stayed home for way more than two weeks.

Cada día, al mediodía, durante la pandemia, un pequeño pajarito venía a visitarme. Nunca
falló—misma hora, mismo lugar, como si supiera que yo estaba allí, esperando.

Si todavía andas por ahí, solo quiero que sepas: estoy bien.

Sobreviví a una pandemia, y tenías razón. Todos se quedaron en casa por mucho más de dos
semanas.
